Evolve Girls Ice Hockey

Evolve Girls Hockey

Mission and Philosophy

The goal of launching the Evolve Girls hockey program is to increase long term female athlete participation in the sport across the Greater Rochester area. The program will focus on the development of all female hockey players at any skill level. Following a for women, by women approach, the primary coaching staff will consist of women who all played at the youth, high school, and collegiate level during their playing careers and truly understand the unique development needs of female players. We aim to improve skating and skills, increase participation, and provide a FUN and safe environment for each player. In the first year of the program, we will practice together twice a month and participate as a team in a combination of girls youth hockey tournaments and exhibition games.
